雅思备考：围绕口语评分标准强化词汇运用能力

　　英语词汇是雅思口语考试的四项评分标准之一，很多考生对这项评分标准的理解并不充分。认为只要能够多用不同的词汇来回答问题就可以得到高分，这实际上完全是一种误解。词汇量（Variety use of vocabulary）不过是词汇评分标准四项基本要素中的一项。词汇评分标准实际上包括四项基本要素，其中任何一项出现错误都会严重影响口语的分数。戴维雅思（88ielts.com）为你提供

1.词汇的精确使用（Accurate use）：
Examiner：How did you feel about the journey?
Student Answer:  Well, I could say it was great . I was so excited because it was my first journey abroad.
正确的用词应当是 “exciting”， 这是很多考生常犯的错误。
2.词汇的合理使用（Approprate use）：
Examiner： How do you think of advertisement?
Student answer: To be honest, I hate advertisement for many reasons because it often interupts my show while I am watching TV.
如果只提到一个，或两个原因，就不要使用 “many”，即便是在 Speaking Part 3， 需要提及多个原因时，建议同学最好使用“several reasons“.总之，词汇的运用要恰到好处，使用得当。
3.词汇的正确搭配（Collocation）：
Examiner：Is it a good practice for students to participate social activities?
Student answer：Yes, I think so. They can absorb knowledge that they hardly get from books when they keep in touch with society.
” in touch with“后面应当是”某人” 而非“ society”
4.词汇的综合使用（Variety use of vocabulary):
Examiner：Do you see a lot of advertisement in your hometown?
Student answer：Yes, I do. There are a various types of advertisements in my hometown, such as selling clothes, shoes,food and so on.. You can see them everywhere in the street, on television or in shops.
整个回答没有展现词汇的多样化运用，而且仅重复了考官问题中核心词语“advertisement” ，”in my hometown“, 这样的回答充其量不会超过6.0分。
对比下面修改后的答案：
Yeah, where I live, I do see a lot of different advertisements, selling all sorts of products, like clothes, shoes,food and all types of other stuff. There are billboards, commercials on TV and even signs in store windows.

　　除了引用问题中的核心词“ advertisement” 以外，利用“ where I live” 取代了问题中的 “in my hometown”， 同时用了与 “advertisement” 相同概念的词汇： “billboads，commercials，signs” 表现了极强的词汇运用能力，无疑会博得考官的青睐。
